This is the Villages project we finished this year. The project features round pressure treated pile, pressure treated Pine framing and Trex Transcends decking with concealed fasteners. The hand railing is also Trex brand picket rail style. Originally bid as an engineer and architect designed project, the bids came in over budget. Fender Marine Construction performed "value engineering" for the client to reduce the cost but keep the structural stability, longevity and beauty of the original design. The covered pavilion wood above the deck was wrapped with PVC sheets and painted. The roof is the sheet metal for great longevity. Our skilled craftsmen lead by Superintendent Tim Abbott finished the project ahead of schedule and saved the customer over $150,000 off the original price.
